If the unit or premises require repairs or compliance with conditions essential to the health, safety or well-being of the tenant informing you, you must take steps to remedy this situation within a reasonable time. A reasonable period of time depends on the urgency of the matter. If there is an emergency, the tenant may give the lessor 14 days` notice to terminate the lease, unless the condition is set within that period.
